Actor Pat Attah takes down fake profiles on Facebook

Like the problem faced by so many other personalities in the entertainment industry, the canker of impersonation for the achievement of recognition and instantaneous gain by certain unknown cowardly faces is quite prevalent. In the last few weeks, actor Pat Attah took note of a similar issue with his profile and other impersonated elements who were soliciting favors in his name from unsuspecting fans, and set out to squarely clear his name and dissociated from any such on goings. He further sought for ways of getting the imposter profiles off Facebook and finally succeeded at it with the shutting down of one of the fake profiles.

Pat had this to say after the shutdown: “One of the fake profiles has been taken down, but one of them is still alive. Here’s the link to the remaining fake profile.” Before reading this however, it may as well have been taken down too.

Pat has set the stage of cleansing and protecting unsuspecting fans from been deceived online. We hope the other actors also follow suit.
