EXPOSED; MERCY JOHNSON'S FIANCE WAS NEVER A PRINCE

Click for Full Image Size
The scandal trailing Mercy Johnson’s fiancĂ©, Prince Odianosen seems to be getting out of hands, as we learnt that he was never a Prince.

In a recent interview, Lovely’s elder sister confirmed it.

She said;

Odianosen was never a Prince; his father got a chieftaincy title in their village, Uromi, Edo State.

To confirm this stance, his grandfather was never a king or a title holder. I never knew he bears the name Prince despite our closeness; it was when the issue of Mercy Johnson surfaced that I started hearing Prince Okojie.

There was even a time that I heard that he bears the name Ibrahim, although his parents were members of Christ Chosen Church.

I even heard that he said his boy, Harmony wasn’t his son. How on earth can that be? Let him prove it.

Tonto Dike in a rough ride again!

If this movie is finally released into the market, then, actress Tonto Dike will have no apology to render to her teeming fans and well-wishers for disappointing them again.

After the condemnable role she played in the controversial soft-porn, “Dirty Secret” produced few months ago by Sanga Entertainment, the pretty actress has damned the dust raised by that movie, as she stars in another deadly soft-porn movie called “Strippers in Love.”

The movie which still is receiving finishing touches, and already raising making waves within the industry is produced by Divine Touch Productions Limited.

A scene in the movie captures Tonto, in a naked dance with a male-actor who is equally half-nude, and caught carried away in the pleasures of the dance.

She perches on the actor’s ‘time-bomb’ in a manner that left much to be desired. The act is much more than a make-believe. An eyesore indeed.

One is sure that Nollywood is not transforming into a home of soft-porn movies like Ghollywood. Though we gathered that, this movie has not been censored yet, its hitting the market will definitely give a different interpretation to what Nollywood represents in Africa, and the entire world at large.

Some marketers have already started wagging tongues, even before the film is released. In case, you see Tonto Dike, tell her to learn to watch her back as all that “Glitters is not gold.

PHOTO: Majid Shows Buttocks

The trailer looks interesting but can Majid Michel and Yvonne Okoro ONLY get it going for that long (considering how Ghanaian movies drag on and on)?
Double D is introducing their first 2 cast movie called ‘Why Marry‘…LOL. How is this possible? Even when we have dozens of Actors and Actresses, majority of the movies still suck …what will happen to a movie made by only two?
These two are good when it comes to acting, so I am not worried about their delivery but then won’t it be boring? Anyway, until we get to watch the entire movie, let’s enjoy the interesting trailer below…
I am told by someone who has seen the movie that, it is a great piece…Make I see for myself first before I go trust am!

Shaq Accuser's Sex-Tape Claims Prove False

Judge dismisses Robert Ross' lawsuit.

After enough eccentric headlines to warrant a special episode of Law & OrderCriminal IntentShaquille O’Neal can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that a judge has dismissed a suit filed by an ex-friend and business associate. A judge threw out Robert Ross’ suit against seven gang members he said kidnapped him in order to retrieve a sex tape featuring the former basketball star.

Ross claimed the tape showed Shaq with multiple women at different times while he was still married toShaunie O’Neal. Ross said Shaq ordered the seven men to beat him into submission until he returned the alleged recording. However, TMZ reports that in a preliminary court hearing the D.A. told the courtroom they no longer had any confidence in Ross based on recent testimony and his actions outside of court.

The D.A. says they lost confidence in Ross because he admitted that he had lied about having a sex tape. It’s a claim Shaq had made since these allegations first surfaced. Lawyers for the multiple defendants soon asked the judge to immediately dismiss the case, which he did.

Sarkodie Ready For a ‘Living Legend’ Status?

With his second album yet to be released, perhaps it’s a bit too early to give Ghana’s undisputed fastest rapper a living legend status.

But judging by his achievements within the short period, one just can’t help but agree with the lyrics of his new single, ‘Living Legend’ featuring TV3 Mentor winner and Project Fame West Africa runner-up, Kesse.

The single highlights the struggles that upcoming artists go through and encourages aspiring artists not to give up using Sarkodie as a case in point. Through it all, the rapper gives praise to God for bringing him success in the face of several adversities - both physical and perhaps spiritual. The single sees Srakodie at his usual best with punchy lines interlaced with some wits.

On the second verse Sarkodie contends that he is on a mission akin to a messenger of God, and in future he would be cited for his exemplary life and achievements in the industry to advise others. He also stated that he has gotten to his current state due to hard work and his good upbringing.

Sarkodie also admonishes Ghanaians to celebrate and idolize their own artists. The deep Twi lyrics addressing the issue which is dear to the rapper could be translated and paraphrased as follows: “ Up till now we don’t have role models in Ghana…how come after all the suffering we go through for our fans we don’t get appreciated? You should help us because 50 Cent represents his country, USA… we live in Ghana and so we rap the Ghana way”.

Kesse follows up with the theme on the chorus and his bridge. The chorus goes like this: “If you’re dreaming then dream big…we’re all humans but different dreams…was a hustler building my dreams… see the strong shall survive…heaven knows my good works…you can do it believe in yourself…was a hustler building my dreams and now I’m a living legend…”

XCLUSIV FOTOS: The Stars Get Touchy

Some celebrities feel very uncomfortable when they attend public events and they have to interact with other people, pose for pictures with them and sign autographs.

In Ghana, some stars are fond of taking pictures with people especially their fellow stars and can’t seem to take their hands of them. They simply like touching when they are taking pictures.

Quit recently, when Nollywood actress Omotola took a picture at the 53rd Grammy Awards, with a gentleman who posed for a picture with his hands comfortably relaxing on the sexy actress’ heavy butt, it became a big issue where her husband reportedly got furious.

When the same actress who obviously learnt her lessons, came to Ghana to shoot a movie “Ties That Bind” earlier this year, she refused to allow anybody to touch her when pressmen were taking photographs with her saying “Please nobody should touch me I don’t want any trouble”.

Some take pictures with stars with their hands rapped around their waist, others firmly hug, and others throw their hands on your shoulder whiles others even try to kiss you.

Now, the question is can people just take pictures without necessarily touching or perhaps what is the most appropriate way to pose with someone for a picture?

Peacefmonline.com cameras have captured some Ghanaian stars and how touchy they are when they are taking pictures.

Check out the exclusive pictures below:

Sika Da Diva Losing Her Fiancé?

In the wake of reports of a purported rise in homosexual activities among Ghanaian celebrities, Ghanaian actress Sika Da Diva says she does not need a man to be pleased because she has what it takes to make herself happy.

“I don’t need a man to make me happy. I get up feeling free, don’t need a man to make me complete. I get up, do my thing,” she commented on her facebook page on Monday afternoon.

The comment follows reports that her fiancé had abandoned her for another woman. Close sources to the actress told NEWS-ONE yesterday that she was losing her fiancé over media reports that she had a crush on fellow actor Eddie Watson.

NEWS-ONE earlier quoted her for saying, “I am falling for somebody and so what? Yes I remember saying I had a crush on Eddie but that does not mean I want to have sex with him.”

she however refused to explain what she meant by having a crush on the actor. Sika allegedly had a heated argument with her fiancé, whose name is yet to be confirmed, over the comment. She could not find any tangible reason to give to her man.

She only downplayed the circumstance that led to her comments as just a joke with her friends which unfortunately ended up on the pages of a newspaper and on the internet.

But the guy allegedly did not believe her because he once caught her in a similar fishy issue. For close to a week now, they have refused to talk to each other. Sika told her friends that she was not worried because there were a lot of guys out there who wanted her, adding that she was not eager and crazy about their relationship.

Sika was last in the news for celebrating her birthday after tales of her love for Eddie Watson. Early this year, Sika told this paper in an exclusive interview that she was not one of the sexy beauties dying for the love of actor John Dumelo.

Her reason was simple: The tall dark sexy actor is not her kind of man. “He does not turn me on,” she added. “I like a physically built man. I mean an athletic person with a flat tummy, who is not fair. He should not be too short and must be taller than me.

He should be God-fearing, loving, hard working and besides everything, he should understand my job as an actress.” She however said “no comment” to whether she was dating or not. Except for John’s flabby stomach and un-athletic physique at the time, he would have been a perfect choice for Sika, considering the qualities she wants.

Sika is a former beauty queen who started flirting with the movie industry in 2008 and has appeared in not less than eight movies.
Last year, she had two productions in Nollywood including ‘I Propose’, starring some of Nigeria’s crème de la crème.

She was also in ‘Prince Bride’ by Venus Films and the controversial movie, ‘Hearts of Men’.She represented Ghana at the ‘Beauty of the World’ 2010 pageant in China and returned with an enviable Miss Personality crown.

Her upcoming movie is produced by top musician Slim Busterr. Sika, born Dzuali Romana Sika Afi, is the only actress with a nickname in Ghana.

Ghana boys Diss Nigeria

Click for Full Image Size
Without mincing words, Nigeria has contributed immensely in redeeming Ghana’s entertainment industry both movies and music.

But it’s so disheartening to know that some unscrupulous and misguided element from Ghana will have the guts to diss us.

Ghanaian Group, FOKNBOIZ just released a single titled( THANK GOD WE ARE NOT A NIGERIANS), in ridiculing us.

I guess they produced the song probably for publicity stunts. But whatever may be the reasons, I think they’ve bite off more than they can chew.

Checkout the lyrics below

LRYICS

Kofi is a common name, that’s what even I say
But a Ghana man will never call a child Friday
Thank God we’re not Nigerians

Always shouting very loud, don’t know how to whisper
And why say Mistor, instead of Mister
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

You like school more than any African I’ve seen
Simple thirteen, you still say tharteen
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

They ban the whole team, you can’t even play
Can’t you just say Hi, what is Ki lon sele
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

You barely qualify, then get stuck
President Goodluck but you still suck
Thank God we’re not Nigerians

Instead of Hamburger or Pizza with ham
You eat Egusi with pounded yam
Thank God we’re not Nigerians

Always trying to show off, even when you eat
One soup, no vegetable but twelve different meat
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

Fela was a great Musician, yes of course
(Inaudible) something drugs
Thank God we’re not Nigerians

You created Nollywood, yes more of it
But too many witches and wizards in your film
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

Always in traditional wear everywhere
Haven’t you hear of Armani wear
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

For example shining five piece agbada
You can look very good in Dolce and Gabbana
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

Not going anywhere fast, let’s just stroll
Traffic everywhere, many bad bad roads
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

No street light from Oregun to Ikeja
Four four, join join two two on okada
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians

Extra page in your passport to pass and go
You have learn very well from Obasanjo
Thank God we’re not Nigerians

Email fraud, Pyramid, 419
Oh that’s not fine
Thank God we’re not a Nigerians
But at least you are better than Liberians

EXPOSED;HOW OGE OKOYE AND INI EDO PARTED WAYS+THE REASON THEY DON'T TALK

Click for Full Image Size
There are seems to be no end to the raging fury rocking the once solid friendship that was between two top actresses Ini Edo and Oge Okoye.

It all started as a mere disagreement between pals that could have been easily resolved had their egos not played a fast trick on them.

We gathered trouble set in after the list of movie stars who were selected as Glo Ambassadors was released and Oge didn’t make the list while her best friend whom is alleged they both worked together to procure the endorsement deal, scaled through.

A hint of betrayal crept in and both distanced themselves from each other. It was then alleged Ini had a hand in Oge’s removal from the final list that produced the Ambassadors.

The new status did not also help matters as the Ambassadors became like Gods who pride themselves as a special breed of movie stars and as such, stylishly built a wall around them.

This further tore them apart as Ini Edo felt more at home with her new set of classy friends.

Obviously bitter by the whole scenario, it was alleged the light skinned actress was behind the abortion tale that trailed the dark skinned actress as it’s said to be a very private issue only someone close to the actress could have divulged to the press.

All fingers pointed towards Oge’s direction and that fuelled the rift.

Both finally went the opposite direction without looking back until when news broke recently that Ini is angry with Oge because of the story in town that Oge was getting too close to Ini’s husband.

It was after the story that their paths crossed recently at a movie location in Festac. It was gathered Oge spoiled for a fight when Ini allegedly accused her of having an affair with her husband,an allegation that got the fair skinned actress infuriated and both tore at each other.

“If I Was Here There Would Be No Majid”…. Van Vicker

Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker who has been off the Ghanaian movie scene for some years now has stated that if he was still very active in Ghana like he used to be some years back, there wouldn’t be new faces like Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Frank Atus and others who are now making waves in Ghallywood. He said his absence gave current stars like Majid and others the opportunity to shine.

The Liberian born Ghanaian screen actor said, this in an interview with Peacefmonline.com, during the launch of the second edition of the Ghana Movie Awards at Golden Tulip in Accra last Wednesday August 3, 2011. “If I had been in the picture all the time, probably there would been no Majid, there would have been no John because I would be working consistently. So it is a good thing that I went into other areas”.

That notwithstanding, Van said he believes he is still a tough competition to any actor on the scene now because he still has his elements and will even do better now because of the experience he has gotten from traveling to different countries. “I think I still have my strength, strength that probably certain artistes in the industry don’t have”, Van told Peacefmonline.com, when he was asked if he thinks he can still fit into the competition in Ghana now.

Van who has largely been accused of abandoning the Ghanaian movie industry that made him, to live in Nigeria debunked that notion saying there is nothing wrong with shooting more Nigerian movies than Ghanaian movies and that does not make him a Nigerian.

“I really want to debunk all those stories that said I live in Nigeria. That is outrageous because I live in Ghana and my family is right here. I don’t think there is anything wrong if I am in Nollywood movies or Ghallywood movies, or Hollywood movies what difference does it make?

Admittedly, he said, he has not been in Ghana for some time now and has not featured in any Ghanaian movie for a while, but explained that he didn’t spend all his time in Nigeria alone. Van disclosed that he spent few months in Nigeria, and traveled to the US and other countries to work and raise money for his foundation. “So let’s not get it twisted I am not always in Nigeria”.

He told media men that he returned from the US on Saturday July 30, 2011 after staying there for over a month. Speaking on the issue of Ghanaian actors being asked to pay money before they are allowed to shoot there, he said it is true some industry players in Nigeria asked Ghanaian actors in Nigeria to pay some amount of money before they are allowed to act in a movie. He said he has been approached personally a few times to pay some money and revealed that at some point he had no choice than to pay because they see him as a foreigner.

On the issue of banning actors and actresses in Ghana, Van said he sees nothing wrong with it.

“I have nothing against any association banning its members or asking its members not to work with a particular person for misconduct but the most important thing is how strong or how true was that thing that the individual was being accused off that merits them to be banned or how bad was it. That is where the question is but I am not against anyone being banned if they go against the code of conduct”.

He rather thinks that "we should be more careful" because according to hi, "Nigerians made such mistakes in the past and banned several movie stars and that affected their industry, so we shouldn’t repeat their mistakes but rather learn from it and move forward".

He also denied allegations that he swore never to work with Abdul Sallam Mumuni CEO of Venus Film Productions who gave him his first major role ever in a movie titled “Divine Love” because there was misunderstanding between the two of them.

Van said he has never said anywhere that he has stopped working with Sallam and revealed that he has had a couple of meetings with Sallam to shoot with him but it seems Sallam always calls him at the wrong time because on every occasion he is called to come on set, he has to travel outside the country, aside other few times that they agreed on a particular date to shoot, Sallam disappeared.

Van Vicker was born to a Liberian-Ghanaian mother and a Dutch father. His father died when he was six years old. He considers himself a global citizen as he was raised all over the world by his mother. Van started out in the entertainment world in radio on Vibe FM and as a Television personality for Metropolitan Television (Metro TV) as a Presenter for “Smash TV and later “Hitz Video” on TV3.

In 2003, Vicker appeared in the Ghanaian television series, Suncity, which depicted university life. Vicker was featured in his first film “Divine Love” in 2004 as a supporting character alongside Jackie Appiah and Majid Michel.

He has since acted in movies like; “Divine Love”, “Beyonce” (The President's Daughter), “Darkness of Sorrow”, “Mummy's Daughter”, “The Return of Beyonce”, “American Boy”, “I Hate Women”, “Innocent Soul”, “In the Eyes of My Husband”, “Princess Tyra”, “Royal Battle”, “Wedlock of the Gods”, “Broken Tears”, “Corporate Maid”, “Friday Night”, and most recently “Paparazzi Eye In The Dark” among others.

The Second Part of The Report......

Just as we all know that it is barely three weeks to Mercy Johnson’s grand wedding ceremony, plans are being cemented and invitation cards have already started going out, but as the count down begins to the wedding date, some lady that goes by the name Lovely Okojie has surfaced, and her story is that she was married and is still married with two kids to Prince Odianose Okojie, Mercy Johnson’s husband to be.

The relationship between Prince Odianose Okojie and Lovely Okojie, packed up five years ago, and Mercy Johnson’s marriage plans to Odi has been in the open for quite a while. Odianose truly is the father of the girl in the pictures being spread all over the internet but there are doubts that he is the father of the boy.

Odianose is a prince and can marry more than one wife under customary law. In her bid to stop the marriage,Lovely Okogie has gone to Christ Embassy to demand that the marriage be stopped, but the Church has requested that she provides a marriage certificate to back up her claim but as at the time of this publication, Lovely is yet to come up with a tenable certificate.

While we are left to decide who is right and who is not, Mercy Johnson and Odi’s plans for the wedding remains the same, it will be a 4-day event that will run from August 25 to 28, 2011. Yvonne Nelson - I Used To Be In Love...

Sexy screen diva, Yvonne Nelson is one of the best role interpreters in the Ghanaian movie industry.

In a recent interview, she opened up on soft porn movies produce in Ghana and her love life.

Excerpts from the interview.

you are known for sex roles. Is that your calling?

That’s funny question. Anyone that might have said that maybe because of the one I have done that has a little sex scene, and I think it’s the movie poster, Forbidden Fruit which caused a little controversy. And I was not the one there. And in the movie, you realize that people did worse than I did, and I can mention a lot of Nollywood actresses who are also doing the same thing now.

And I have not even done five of such movies where some of Nollywood actresses have done more than 20.

I have not showed any sensitive part of my body. I can never go nude completely in any movie.

Most Ghollywood movies have many sex related scenes. What is your take on it?

Do you know your fact is not right at all? I don’t think I am in that position to answer that, a director should be in the best position to answer that.

For me,I can’t boast of five movies of such scenes and any time I feature in movies like that, it has to be classy and not trashy like other people do.

People are just taking advantage and over doing things and it is not going on in Ghollywood again.

There is a new movie produced in Ghana, Sex City?

I am not aware of it. How can I answer when I am not part of it?

Producers are just taking advantage because they think it will increase their sales. I don’t think it is fair because they are abusing it.

Have parents in Ghana ever complained about the sex scenes?

Any parent would complain about such movies. Some foreign movies have sex related scenes, and when we produce a family movie, the children should watch such.

Any movie written above 18years, children shouldn’t be allowed to watch movies like that would always be around.

Don’t you think it promotes immorality?

Yes of course, it does. That is why I am saying if at the end of the movie, it’s just sex; parents should keep watching their children because it is not only in movies they see such scenes. They see it on internet as well. People should not put it all on these movies.

It’s just the producer taking advantage.

What does it take to be an actress in Ghana?

You must be talented and you must have the whole packaging and also be presentable for TV. Above all, you must be passionate and have all the required skills.

What is the difference between Nollywood and Ghollywood?

We are all the same. I don’t want to discriminate.Yes, we are Ghanaians and you people are Nigerians, still we are the same.

The only difference is that Nollywood has a bigger market than the Ghanaian movies. And I give all the credit to Nollywood because our directors, script writers are all Nigerians.

But recently the directing, script writing is doing pretty well too, but all the credit goes to Nollywood because Frank Pajah is still in Ghana directing for us.So, there is a bit of Nollywood in Ghollywood. And we are doing better.

What is your reaction towards Nollywood and Ghollywood actors paying tax in either country before featuring in movies?

I don’t think it’s real because I just did some few jobs in Nigeria.

John Dumelo is also there doing his works. It’s just the stuff people read that mislead them.Rumours can be very dangerous when it gets to a point that looks like the truth, and readers can’t differentiate the truth form rumour.

So, nothing has really changed about Nollywood and Ghollywood.

Who do you enjoy working with in Nollywood?

My all time is Genevieve Nnaji. The first time I came to Nigeria in 2007, she was the first person I worked with and I love her as well. I also love Mercy Johnson and Susan Peters. I love Mike Ezuruonye,Desmond Elliot,Emeka Ike,Jim Iyke,Chidi Mokeme and others.

Tell us about your life?

I wish there is something to say. Journalists keep writing about me because I never come out with who I am dating.Really,I am just there, happy and happy with my love life. I used to be in love but not in love anymore.Maybe, when I was 18,maybe my first love.

Tell us your kind of man?

I am not that kind of choosy person. I don’t look out for the very sexy type, someone that the garage is full with cars. But he must be hard working; he must be fun to be with. I don’t deal with physical appearance.

Is it difficult to find the right man?

Yes, because for everybody in showbiz, it is difficult because Nigerians are used to the mentality of seeing you on TV and keep saying and thinking all sort of things, and it affects most of us in finding the real person. So,it’s difficult unless the person does know what you are doing.
