Confidence' Boobs Sparks Controversy

Most men have a passion for three things: money, good breasts of a woman and a perfectly-shaped pair of female buttocks. It is therefore understandable why a video recording that shows the naked breasts of Confidence Haugen, Chief Executive of the Aphrodisiac Night Club and Ghana’s female representative to the Big Brother Africa Amplified contest, has sparked another controversy in Accra, making the demand for the video very high. While some argue that the breasts appear too firm and rounded to belong to a 37-year-old mother, others say the owner of the breasts may have ‘firmed’ it with some surgical transplant. The debate has been rather fierce and has touched on raw nerves in some instances. The alarming video is believed to have been recorded when Confidence was taking her shower in the Big Brother House, competing for $200,000. She is on record to have admitted that she was aware that there were cameras on the bathhouse. What has spiced up the controversy is the fact that after Confidence was evicted from the House, she told journalists in Accra that there was no time she stripped naked during the competition, though several housemates stripped before the cameras.Her naked video has therefore generated some interest as her fans are eager to catch a glimpse of it. This is not the first time the breasts of the 37-year-old mother of one have become a subject of news. During her stay in the house, she was captured by the cameras showing her naked bobs and having them fondled by a male housemate, 24—year-old Zues from Botswana. Zues was wearing a pair of boxer shorts and was seated at the edge of the bathtub with his feet in the water. He had his legs parted in a way that his opened thighs served as a perfect seat of comfort for Confidence.

Zues had placed his palms on Confidence’ boobs, firmly grabbing her nipples, as she placed her hands on his palms and pushed them further on her breasts. The pair of breast looked ‘heavy’ and younger than what the natural breasts of a 37-year-old should look like. They were round and firm enough to make a gay turn heterosexual. Interestingly, Confidence did not stop to tell the young chap that ‘monkeys play by sizes’ but rather used her palms to press his hands further on her breasts as if to say, “hold my boobs dear”. Before Confidence was evicted, News-One received some rather alarming photos showing the nakedness of the other BBA Housemates. Though the housemates were very much aware that their actions were being streamed to millions of TV viewers all over the world, they damned the consequences and removed their underwear anyway, showing their sex organs and pubic hairs. The photographs also showed both adult males and females bathing together or stripping before each other.

Myron AK Arrives With Two Singles

Myron AK is the latest artiste to announce his presence on Ghana’s music scene.

His optimism of becoming a successful musician is driven by the fact that the music industry is welcoming new talents and his product is very good for the competition.

He is still working on his maiden album but he has two singles, ‘Run 2 Ur Man’ and ‘Down There, being played on air. Both songs used heavy drums and synthetic instruments and strings reminiscent of Jamaican dancehall greats like Mavado, Beenie Man and Vibz Kyrtel.

But he tried to give it a Ghanaian touch by occasionally singing lines in Ga, Asante Twi and Pidgin.

On ‘Run 2 Ur Man’, Myron AK used a Jamaican accent as he talked about his abilities and how his music was supposed to get girls dancing.

The playful ‘Down There’ attempted to humorously paint a picture of a heavy-bodied woman and how guys said so many things to her because they were attracted to her body.

Twenty-two-year-old Myron Otoo revealed that he started writing songs when he was 12.

According to him, he used to make music with notes when he was in junior high school. He took it more serious when he was in St. Peters’ Secondary School.

The Bachelor of Arts undergraduate of the University of Ghana said, “A couple of my friends and I started a music group called S.O.E (School of Entertainment). We recorded a couple of demos that were hits among all the schools that were on the Kwahu Ridge and other schools in the Eastern Region.

“In form 2, when teachers (NAGRAT) went on strike, I started a mock ‘radio station’ called Bonzy FM in my class and all the windows around our class were packed with people from other classes. I also sang a couple of songs I had written and free styled while my friend, Atu Osborn Selassie played on his desk with his cutlery. I had fully developed my music personality and written enough songs to make two albums by the time I was in SSS 3 and took delight in disturbing my classmates with them during prep hours.”

Myron however gave up his dreams on music after earlier attempts to get his records on air proved futile. The will to stay on came when he followed his friends to the Ghana Movie Awards last Christmas.

He imagined himself on the stage and felt he could do what every single artiste that performed on the night came to do. So he hit the studio again and recorded a couple of songs including his first single, ‘Run 2 Ur Man’ and ‘Down There’.

“This time I have mustered enough willpower to stay on no matter the obstacles and I have also learnt a few lessons pertaining to what people want to hear,” he said.

Myron grew up listening to an array of music genres like reggae, dancehall, highlife, traditional Ga music, hiplife, hip hop and country.

Artistes like Bandana, Samini, Sean Paul, Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, Kwabena Kwabena and Buju Banton have influenced the kind of music he does.

Though his works are dancehall, the young man said he did not want to be categorized to any genre of music.

“To me, music is a big river with various streams of expressions, I’m doing dancehall now because it is the stream closest to me, as in, it is what I listen to mostly when I was developing my music personality but don’t be surprised if you hear me singing highlife or even rock in the future,” he added.

Sony Addo’s Optic Nerve is working on the video for Myron’s ‘Run 2 Ur Man’. It is expected to be on the screens in mid-November.

Tonto Gets Big Tattoo On Her Back

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh is by now having the time of her life as a make-believe queen in the United States of America, where she is with her friends and colleagues Uche Jombo, Kalu Ikeagwu and others for the tour of the movie ‘Damage’.

She left the shores of Nigeria earlier this month to the United States for ‘Damage’s premiere US tour.

Just some weeks ago, news of her 57 tattoos was in the media and surprisingly on Tuesday, she posted a picture of her new tattoo on her back, just about two days after arriving in the United States.

The new tattoo brings to 58 the number of tattoos the actress has.

The picture has been attracting comments from her friends on twitter and other social networking sites.

When one of her fans asked why she drew a bigger tattoo on her back, she simply asked the fan to go kill himself if he was not happy with her tattoo.

Some of her fans thought the engineer graduate was too harsh to say that to a person, especially since she was a celeb a lot of people looked up to.

Since the news of Caroline’s pregnancy and subsequent delivery of a bouncy baby boy early this year, there have been rumors making rounds that Lynx Entertainment star Zigi of “U Say Wey Thing?” fame is the father of her baby. Even though, neither Caroline nor Zigi has denied or confirmed this rumour, she has always refused to comment publicly on any issue concerning the father of her child. Caroline, who was featured on Asem’s “Pigaro” remix, is presently a presenter on Y-107.9 FM. She hosts ‘Room Service’, a slow jam show program, interlaced with smooth talk, which airs on YFM from Mondays through to Thursday from 10pm to midnight.

The 27 year-old is a Stars Integration of Culture of Africa (SICA) award winner for “Best Presenter 2009". Caroline was one of the finalists of the Miss Malaika 2005 as well as a Top Model Ghana contest in 2006.

Aside radio, she does full time modeling. She has cat-walked for local and international designers including Ozwald Boateng, Kofi Ansah, Nana Asihene and House of Eccentric among others.
