Show of Sex Organ: Who Is Next?

Deborah Vanessa
The most memorable incident about last year’s edition of the annual music concert ‘Decemba 2 Rememba’organized by Citi FM, was when a very popular female star showed her naked, hairy vagina during her performance at the concert.
Citi FM, on Monday, December 24, would stage the 2012 edition of ‘Decemba 2 Rememba’ and it is not yet clear what would be the most remembered incident at this year’s show that has lined up some of the country’s best performers including Asem, D-Black, E.L., Kaakie, Lousika, Dr. Slim, Cwesi Oteng, Criss Waddle Akatakyei, D2, Keche and the controversial Deborah Vanessa; kid sister of Wanluv Kubolor.
Deborah’s hit song ‘Uncle Obaama’ has been largely interpreted to be vulgar and believed to mean she was talking about Obama’s ‘banana’.
Interestingly, Deborah has told NEWS-ONE she would be performing that very song.  “Yes it is my major show. Hopefully there will be one main banana,” she stated.
Deborah, in the song, sings about her wanting Uncle Obama’s banana and until she hits the stage, it is difficult to tell which ‘one main banana’ she would be showing on stage.
What makes the threat from Deborah something worth writing home about is the fact that her big brother, Kubolor, had told Ghanaians he had no regrets for showing his naked penis to a female TV presenter.
Another group that has openly bragged about a super performance at the 2012 Decemba 2 Rememba is the hiplife duo D2.
According to the group made up of Duke Thompson and George Ocansey, it would steal the show with its energetic performance and creative dance moves.
“We are revved up for a fantastic performance. Come and learn the latest azonto,” it stated.
‘Decemba 2 Rememba’ has over the years lived up to expectation and given the audience value for their money and this year’s promises to be no different.

People Want Me Dead – Bob Okala

Bob Okala
Popular Ghanaian comedian Bishop Bob Okala’ has said there are plans to assassinate him after he publicly endorsed President Mahama’s candidature.
According to him, his assailants were members of the main opposition NPP at Teshie in Accra.
Bob Okala added that his attackers usually came to his house at midnight to pelt him with stones.
Speaking to XYZ News in an interview, Bob Okala said although he had reported the matter to the Teshie Police, he still felt insecure.
“This is not the first time I have been attacked; I was attacked and severely beaten in Kumasi some years back and it took the intervention of President Rawlings to bring me back to Accra.
“I am not the only celebrity who endorsed President Mahama, some did it for Nana Akufo Addo so why is it that they have not been attacked,” Bob Okala said.

Ramsey Nouah Escapes Helicopter Crash

Ramsey Noah
Nigeriafilms.com has reported that Ramsey Nouah and Timi Dakolo are all safe, debunking earlier reports that they were involved in a helicopter crash.
Earlier reports said Ramsey and Timi were among passengers of a helicopter that crashed in Bayelsa State and killed Kaduna State governor Patrick Yakowa and General Owoye Azazi, former National Security Adviser.
But it turned out that the entertainers were not dead as earlier speculated.
Sources close to the two entertainers, according to website, said they (Ramsey and Timi) both missed the flight that was chartered to convey them alongside others to one Oronto Douglas’ father’s burial.
A source who spoke to Ramsey after the death rumour said the actor was in Abuja while Timi Dakolo went on twitter to announce, “God saved me.”
Nigeria’s entertainment industry panicked when it was first rumoured that Ramsey Nouah and Timi Dakolo were also involved in the plane crash.
They were believed to have been contracted to attend the event which they eventually missed.
Before the crash, Timi Dakolo was in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, a state that shares boundary with Bayelsa State where the ill-fated crash occurred.

Babie of TV3 ‘Hot Gossip’ Goofs On TV

In an era where information is easily accessed via the internet and with the aid of social media, it is very imperative for media personalities to equip themselves with the right information through proper research before airing their shows and not just put out any uninformed news.

Although I’m not so much a fan of ‘Hot Gossip’ on TV3, I took pains to watch the programme this Saturday, October 27 and to my utmost surprise, the host congratulated winners of Ghana DJ Awards and called it a “great event”; an event which was not held and postponed due to technical hitches, according to organizers of the event.

In as much others would want to save her head because the show was pre-recorded, the question that comes to mind is, “Couldn’t the show have been edited as the they had well over 12 hours on their hands before airing the show on Saturday?”

Some of these practices therefore leave me to wonder if one can trust the ‘Hot Gossip’ anchor and her team to give us the right information.

Nadia Buari Goes Wild In Abuja

Nadia Buari, the Ghanaian multi-talented actress who imprinted her presence in people’s hearts for her sensational role in ‘Beyonce’ is a drop-dead gorgeous whose beautiful façade and happy demeanour is well known.
To imagine that charming, smiling face actress going livid with anger is almost as alien as seeing a lark busting into tears but the sexy mulatto did nearly got out of turn last week in Abuja when a cab driver reportedly played a fast one on her.
The story has it that the said cab driver, seeing that Nadia is a Johnny-just-come, tried to gyp her by inflating fares exorbitantly, not knowing that the actress, as foreign as she looks, knows her way around the capital city. An argument is said to have ensued between the two over what should be a fair fare for the journey.
“Early morning temptation-this cab driver wanted to dupe me and not so much about the money, but it’s just the principle and then he yelled and insulted me when I declined”, Nadia later confirmed the incidence on her twitter account.
“Honest to God I felt like grappling and beating the shit out of him (if I could), because instead of him to be bucolic about it, he was rather yelling at me. Just had to keep my cool and ignore him, because in the end he wasn’t worth my fury. Dear God, thank you for the spirit of stoicism, because I would have hurt him” she added.

T.B Joshua Helped Me Quit Smoking - Actress

Popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has sensationally revealed that the sudden end to her smoking addiction came through the prayers of Pastor T.B. Joshua via his Christian station Emmanuel TV.

Dikeh, who rose to fame after becoming the runner up in the Nigerian reality show, ‘The Next Movie Star’ in 2006, had garnered a controversial reputation in Nollywood for being a heavy smoker. According to Dikeh, she started chain-smoking at the age of 13 and there seemed no signs of the habit waning.

When questioned about her smoking in an interview with Nigeria’s Nation Newspaper early last year, the Rivers State born star said, “If I want to smoke, I handle a stick of cigarette and I smoke it hard. It is my life I can decide to smoke myself to hell. It’s nobody’s business.”

The habit recently led to a serious clash between her and Ghanaian actor Van Vicker when he bitterly complained at her smoking on set, culminating in a heavy exchange of words. When probed in September 2011 about the health implications of her habit, the care-free actress retorted, “My smoking habit doesn’t affect your life in anyway. If I die tomorrow, you’re not going to bury me. My father has the money to bury me. So, why are they talking about it?”

However, there was a sudden twist in the tale in May 2012 when, seemingly out of the blue, Tonto tweeted to her over 80,000 followers on Twitter, ‘I’ve good news for those who wish me well. Its silly good news but ya’ll going to love this. I quit smoking!’ Although the announcement was met with almost unanimous approval from her fans, speculation was rife as to what caused her sudden decision, many doubting whether it would actually last. But in an online article published this week, the sultry actress shed light on the spiritual element to her quitting in an interview with Nigerian entertainment magazine, ‘E24-7’.

“I didn’t quit smoking by myself,” she explained to Biodun Kupoluyi. “I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said, ‘Lay your hands on the TV’ and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off.”

After a short nap, Tonto awoke and attempted to smoke as usual. However, according to her, something inexplicably supernatural had happened. “When I woke up, I took a stick of cigarette and I felt crazy. I couldn’t even imagine that I took it up to smoke in the first place. It felt like poison!” An addiction of 14 years was ended through a simple prayer on television. Three months down the line, Dikeh has remained clean from smoking.

Judging by online reaction to Tonto’s revelation, it appears her experience is not an isolated one. Many viewers of Joshua’s Emmanuel TV testified to similar experiences, including Lovemore Chibvongodze from United Kingdom who told the official T.B. Joshua Ministries Facebook Page, followed by close to 300,000 people, how his 34 year addiction to smoking and drinking alcohol ended through prayers on Emmanuel TV.

Joshua, who was recently adjudged by Paris-based magazine, ‘The Africa Report’ to be among the 50 most influential Africans, is growing increasingly popular across Africa largely due to the increase in awareness of and intrigue in Emmanuel TV.

Speaking on T.B. Joshua’s positive influence in her life, Tonto said, “I watch him every day, I write to him every time I can, I tweet on him. I think that he is a person that influences my life positively in a lot of ways just through the TV alone… I am following him because I think he is following Jesus. I just love him because he is a man of God and he has specially affected my life and my friends too.”

Abodam Scares Naija Stars

NEWS-ONE can confirm that a number of Nigerian music stars arrived in Ghana last night for Saturday’s ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ show and several more will be arriving to address a pre-event press conference today.
The show brings together musicians and DJs from Ghana and Nigeria on one stage, on one night, to entertain a packed auditorium and the performances have usually been seen as a ‘who-is-who’ contest between the two groups.
Indeed, organizers for the event, Empire Entertainment, have made it official that the DJs’ section would be a straight battle between Ghana and Nigeria and the audience would be the judges.
Saturday’s event would be the second edition of the supposed international music contest and already there is a sharp rivalry among music fans from both countries and a general debate over which performer would out-do the other.
Reports said moments after the visiting stars checked into the Golden Tulip Hotel  last night, this debate sparked among them and though they were confident of out-performing their Ghanaian counterparts, they were not too sure of Ghanaian hiplifer Kwaw Kese aka Abodam of Madtime Entertainment.
Nigeria would be represented by the Undisputed Man Mr. Incredible (M.I.), who is currently receiving great reviews all over the continent and doing great stuff.
Also from Nigeria would be Brymo, whose song ‘Ara’ is doing great in Ghana; he did ‘Oleku’ with Ice Prince and he has a huge fan base here.
A new kid on the block, Davido, is also from Nigeria, just as the sexy, saucy Tiwa Savage, who is a club banger known for a lot of songs.
On the Ghanaian  list are heavyweights like R2Bees, Kwaw Kesse, Kakkie, Guru, 4×4, Tiffany, Chemphe and several artistes  who have opted to rock the stage for free just to make sure the Ghanaian squad outperformed their  Nigerian counterparts.
The challenge, according to Empire Entertainment, would be whether they would have enough time for all the performances.
They have therefore decided to start the show early and are actually considering doing an all-night-long affair.
It is not surprising that Kwaw Kesse has become an issue among the Nigerians.
Reports said he has actually charged a $10, 000 performance fee just for the night and is currently rehearsing for the performance of his life.
Last Saturday night, Empire Entertainment took delivery of a number of top-of-the range luxury automobiles brought into the country, just for the concert on the 30th of June, by highly reputed luxury automobile company, Euro Tour.
The company is partnering with Empire Entertainment to give all artistes on the bill an experience of a lifetime.
The high-end cars, mostly black, include the Rolls Royce Ghost model, Bentleys, and Maserratis.
The cars are to be used in transporting all performing artistes, both local and international, days to the event.
All artistes will therefore be chauffeured to the venue instead of going through the stress of having to drive their own cars.
Another introduction would be the artiste lounge, which would replace the regular backstage set up known for Ghanaian concerts.
Performing artistes will therefore be feted in grand style before and after their performances on the night.
This is aimed at ensuring that artistes from both countries are comfortable and well catered for to energize them to give off their very best performances on the night, as well as break certain norms in the event business.
Meanwhile, tickets for the June 30 event are selling hot at GH¢70 regular and GH¢150 VIP at Koala, Silverbird lifestyle store, Frankies (Osu and Accra mall), MTN Stores (Osu and Accra Mall), RLG Store (Osu), Joy FM front desk, Airport Shell, Baatsona Total, Community 11 Shell, Jane Ann supermarket and Empire Entertainment head office at Laterbiokorshie.

Edem writes to his fans

Dear Fans, A few years ago, I had a dream. A few years ago, while at Bishop Herman School, I dreamt I will be one of the greatest musicians from Africa. Right after school, fate and hard work got me into music.

I just sang what my heart felt, and you, received me with open arms and embraced me. You welcomed me and have helped me to remain grounded.

From Bougez, through to Bra Fremi, Nyornuviade, Too Much, Legacy, Kate, Ghetto Arise, Warrior for Peace, Not on my Level and Over Again, you have showed me a love and support so true.
Granted, there have been some downfalls along the line, situations which could have been avoided and others which just had to happen to strengthen me and to show your support for me as unrelenting.
We all thirst for victory but without trials, we cannot be victorious. I know I let you down on some occasions. I am sorry. I really am. As much as I can, and with God as my Help, I hope to grow more sensible from each mistake and bad experience.
There are a number of people too who do not like me. Well maybe they do but they do not want to accept it. They spend time on my Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/edemonline) wall and on twitter (www.twitter.com/iamedem} saying all sorts of things against me. Sometimes I ignore, but am human, and some do get to me. I’m comforted with the fact that I cannot please everybody.
However all such people should know that I appreciate their sharp edged tongues because they keep me on my toes and their negativity fuels my drive.
The future is what we all hope for. We are not guaranteed of it yet we need to plan for it. I am humbled by your love and your support. I hope to reach higher levels and while am still working hard, I finally want to encourage you all to reach for your goals as well. Once again, thank you for your support.
GOGET’EM! !!!!!!!!!
Regards, and love always,
Edem.

Omoni Oboli Is Nollywood Best Public Relations Actresses

According to Nollywood reports, Omoni Oboli is the only actress with the most excellent public relations in Nollywood.
Nigeriafilms.com reported that Omoni Oboli had been rated the Nollywood actress with the best public relations and her husband Nnamdi was said to be the secret behind her superb public relations.
They have been married for 12 years and still waxing stronger as one of the most solid celebrity couples in Nollywood.
She has also acknowledged the exemplary role of her husband in her successful professional life.
Public relations is not well appreciated in Nigeria, because many Nigerians do not appreciate the importance, relevance and significance of public relations in both private and public sectors.
That is why Nigeria has a very terrible image on the international scene, and Nigerians are being labeled as fraudsters and drug peddlers in the international community when only very few Nigerians are engaged in these crimes. Unfortunately, the appropriate public officials in government and corporate affairs managers in private companies have not performed up to the expectations of the best practices of public relations.
Nigerian corporate affairs managers don’t even know how to reply important emails or letters and their companies end up with bad public relations as can be seen in the common misunderstandings between them and their respective customers/clients in their host communities.
Most of these corporate affairs managers or public relations officers forget that they are the public image of their companies.
Many of them even lack basic company manners when compared to their foreign counterparts or peers.
Therefore, it is really imperative to emphasize the urgency of this matter in our private and public lives and in particular where public relations would be of immense benefit to Nigeria and Nigerians locally and internationally, such as in Nollywood, the most popular Nigerian brand in the world which is seen as the mirror of Nigeria and Nigerians in the global village.

Thank God For Idiots

Tonight at the National Theater in Accra, the most hilarious comedy of the year so far, ‘Thank God For Idiots’, comes off.
NEWS-ONE found the title very odd and therefore decided to speak with the producers about it.
The drama was put together by Globe Productions, the same company that staged ‘Romantic Nonsense’, ‘You May Kiss the Corpse’ and the ‘Gallery of Comedies’, one of the greatest comedies ever produced in Ghana.
According to Globe Productions, the whole idea was to revive the culture of theater in Ghana and make sure Stage Theater becomes a very professional and lucrative venture once again.
The producer, Latifa Bataima Abubakar, explained to NEWS-ONE that “the title is just a creative one to catch attention but actually the production is very professional and worth attending.
No one wants to have idiots in society and we are not praying for that.”
“But truth is many people we consider as idiots in society and actually would not want to listen to them actually have the solutions to our challenges and if we would be just a little tolerant to their views, we would learn a whole lot.
“This is both biblical and Koranic. In this play for instance, you find an idiot who has served so many wise masters that he actually has observed best practices among the wise and he actually says all the wise things and offers the wise solutions but hardly practices them.
This is a high voltage must-see production,” Mr. Abubakar added.
The play talks about a young couple living large because the man has inherited his late brother’s property. Despite all they have, the marriage is on the rocks.
Expressing their emotions towards each other is one big problem. One midnight, in the midst of a very heated argument, they have a visitor.
‘Thank God for Idiots’ addresses the questions on who this visitor is, whether the visitor is  the ghost of his late brother, the purpose of the visit at that ungodly hour and whether this visit  would be good or bad news for the couple.
The drama would be staged twice tonight at the National Theater. The first production is at 5pm and the second one at 8pm. The show also moves to Takoradi on 7th July and to Kumasi ending of July 2012.

Essien Still Loves Nadia

There is nothing wrong with going back to your ex, as old firewood burns better than new ones.
Chelsea star Michael Essien and Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari might have ended their amorous relationship due to their egos or whatever you will call it, but that does not stop them from being friends.
We know so much about their relationship but not all of us knew the beginning of what has now turned sour.
The two were a thing and after sometime, they decided to call it off.
With Nadia’s beauty, every man would do anything to get her. She attracts enough attention everywhere she goes.
Essien on the other hand is one of the affluent young men in the world.
He is well-to-do and plays for a rich team that has just won the UEFA Champions League.
Even before the triumph, his well-to-do nature had always attracted young ladies who were ready to devour and make away with some of his cash.
Ego will always be a problem for these two personalities.
There had been rumuors that the Chelsea star dumped the beautiful actress, though not confirmed, as events after their break-up left many to speculate.
TV3 newscaster and host of Diva’s Show, Nana Aba Anamoah, celebrated her birthday earlier in the week.
Yesterday, she gathered some of her close friends and some Ghanaian celebrities for a private party inside Villaggio Primavera.
That was a perfect time for the two lover birds to make up. But it didn’t look like it was planned. Nadia was the first to make it to the venue.
After several others had arrived, Essien and former captain of Black Stars Stephen Appiah showed up together.
After exchanging pleasantries, he occupied a seat just opposite the actress.
The two didn’t look like they wanted to talk to each other – blame it on their egos- but they occasionally stole glances at each other.
After alcohol was put into action, the two joined the spontaneous discussions and started teasing each other.
Like magnet and metal, the two got close to each other and asked for photos to be taken of them – something that the other guests gladly supported and cheered.
As some shouted “they are back”, others applauded them. The two seemed to have found a way to get closer to each other once again, courtesy Nana Aba’s party, after their failed relationship; but as to whether they love each other, we are not sure.
When GhanaCelebrities.Com asked if they will consider a comeback, Essien said, “Ask Nadia”. She also said, “Ask Essien”.
What GhanaCelebrities.Com gathered is that they would love to give it a shot again but who will come forward?
Egos playing out again!
You can make your own judgments from the pictures.
Though it was alcohol working most of the time, they were still enjoying each other’s company!

DKB Slaps Lady: The Full Story

Fresh reports reaching NEWS-ONE about DKB, the Ghanaian representative at the Big Brother Africa (BBA) Stargame contest who got sacked from the international competition because he physically assaulted a fellow housemate, Zainab from Sierra Leon, say he is likely to be deported from South Africa.
Unconfirmed reports also say he risks being slapped with criminal charges of assault and violent behaviour.
The Ghanaian comedian on Monday gave Zainab two dirty slaps because she had opened the bathroom door to take a peek at him while he was taking a shower.
NEWS-ONE reproduces a blow-by-blow account of the altercation between DKB and Zainab just after he came out of the bathroom.
DKB: Hey Zainab, we play and everything. We joke…
Zainab: (interrupts) don’t joke with me again. Okay….
DKB: (interrupts)…we joke and everything but that should be the last time it happens (he tells her with his left fore finger pointed in her face).
DKB: Which normal woman in her right senses would open the door when a gentleman is in the bathroom?
Zainab: I did not go to see you…
DKB: Who the f**k was in there if it wasn’t me?
Zainab:  (she points to another housemate) He was there. He was trying to…
DKB: (interrupts) I’ve warned you. Behave like a woman. Respect yourself. You are not in your right senses. (He starts to move away)
Zainab:  Whatever you would say
DKB: (He turns to another housemate) Have you ever opened the door when I am bathing before? (Turns to Zainab) why the fuck would you do that what the fuck do you want to see? Next time, try it and I would slap you.
Zainab:  Are you f**king crazy?
DKB: Try it again and I would slap you
Zainab: N****r you are getting fucking delusional
DKB: I will slap you (he says with his finger pointed in her face, then turns and starts to walk away)
Zainab: (She gets up and walks straight to him) Slap me now!
DKB: I’m in the bathroom, come and open the door and I would slap you.
Zainab:  Slap me now! Why don’t you slap me now bitch?
DKB: I will slap you. (He violently pushed her away, touching her breasts instead of her chest) I will slap you.
Zainab: Don’t push me! (She yelled as she staggered backwards)
DKB: (he then gives Zainab a hefty well-sounded slap in her face and a fierce struggle ensues between the two of them. Other housemates immediately rush to stand in-between the two and hold back DKB) Are you trying to slap me? I will shut the fuck out of you. Next time don’t open the bathroom. That is what I am telling you.
Zainab:  F**k you.
DKB: (he breaks away from the housemates restraining him and heads straight for Zainab. He throws another fist at her but it partially landed on her face.) If you are sick move the fuck out of this house. Why should someone be bathing and you want to open the door? What the f**k do you want to see? Do you want to see your father’s face? Stupid girl!
Zainab:  Don’t you dare call my father into this. My father is not a loser like your father’s father. Your father is such a loser.
DKB: Do you want to see your father? I would slap the spectacles off your face. Don’t f**k with me.
Zainab:   I would slap you too.
DKB: What the f**k did you open the door for (he heads for Zainab again. At that moment, Big Brother’s voice was heard booming “This is Big Brother, DKB report to the diary room immediately”)
Zainab:  What the f**k!

Genevieve Beats Desmond Elliot For Multi-Million Naira Range Rovers Deal

Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has landed a multi-million naira car deal.
The single mother of one has been appointed by Coscharis Motors in Nigeria as the brand ambassador of Range Rover cars in Nigeria.
Coscharis owns the car brand in Nigeria. With this deal, Genny, as she is also called, would pocket about $100,000 in the first six months of the deal.
Subsequent months would make the actress about $250,000 richer.
The deal, according to information, would run for an initial 12 months but open to renewal thereafter.
Interestingly, the bumper deal was dangled between Genevieve and Desmond Elliot.
A source told Nigeriafilms.com that Coscharis team had a very tough time deciding who to give the deal to.
But Genevieve got the deal based on her popularity over Desmond.
Another factor, as the source exclusively told Nigeriafilms.com, was that Genny was becoming more of a global brand than Desmond.
“Genevieve’s past successful brand deals really helped her in clinching this Range Rover cars mouth-watering deal,” the website reported.
